Sarah Watson BEng (Hons) FIEAust
Ms Watson is an environmental risk management and ocean sustainable development professional with 20 years of experience. Having worked for international operators and engineering consultancies, liaising with government agencies, in Africa, the Americas, Australasia, Europe, and the Middle-East, her experience encompasses the full lifecycle of offshore energy projects, from new ventures through to decommissioning, including marine and coastal facilities.
Furthering her formal engineering education and professional experience, Ms Watson is now studying (part-time) towards a Master of Public and International Law, focusing on ocean sustainable development and environmental law. She is doing this because she believe inter-disciplinary ways of thinking are required in order to engineer a more sustainable future.
Ms Watson is passionate about ensuring the world’s oceans are developed sustainably and promoting diversity and inclusion within Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) professions.
